FACT is collective of young and inventive musicians and composers, F.A.C.T. has spent the past five years creating and developing their own style of group-oriented modern jazz. By letting go of the traditional soloist-accompanist jazz concept and instead concentrating on group oriented improvisation with strong compositional content, the group has developed its own recognizable style. Each member of the group is a recognized member of the Montreal modern jazz underground, as well as performing and recording frequently with more established artists.
