Anne Bisson is still completely unknown in Germany. The Canadian comes from the province of Quebec and lives in Montréal. She has Canada won a rigorous training in the areas of classical piano and singing behind him and countless awards. However, this jazz album is very personal, with eight self-written, deeply emotional songs in excellent sound quality.
Anne Bisson has all the songs worked out completely and learned in the studio two professional session musicians of the label Fidelio know music. The drummer Paul Brochu also teaches at the University of Montreal and has toured as a percussionist already all over Europe. Bassist Normand Guilbeault plays jazz with passion and is the organizer of the Montreal OFF Festival de Jazz. This trio blends, as if it were made for each other. The entire LP was produced in less than two days.
That in itself would be for the audiophile listeners not as interesting if the recording would not be technically outstanding success. In the Studio Reference in St.-Calixte was with finest Neumann and B & K microphones, a madness recording to analog tape (!) Banned. In this studio audiophile cable of the brand Shunyata are actually used and the amplification is done by the Canadian manufacturer MOON. Then, for the entire LP only in play "Dragonfly" worked with overdubs - all other pieces are presented as they were actually recorded an absolute rarity in modern productions..
The finished LP was finally cut by Kevin Gray at AcoustechMastering in California and is pressed on 180g vinyl.
UPDATE: Anne Bisson personally acquired the rights to the recording of Fidelio Records and causes a-pressing at RTI in Los Angeles. This can now be property offers slightly cheaper than before and the pressing quality of our new sample copies is good the LP.
