BIOGRAPHY
Gérald “Willie” Babineau, nicknamed “Le Begueilleux”, is very happy to present his first solo album “Le Begueilleux t’chin bon”. Gérald is an Acadian country guitarist and singer from the Moncton region. He was a member of the very popular group Chiac, which had a huge success with the song “Le begueilleux”.
The titles of the album “Le Begueilleux t'chin bon” are original songs, lyrics and music by Gérald Babineau. Musicians David LeBlanc (mandolin), Raymond LeBlanc (bass), Paul Desprès (wooden box) also contributed to the musical arrangements. Having toured with many artists including; Cayouche, Laurie LeBlanc and the groups Chiac, Réveil, and Bluegrass Diamond, he decided to create his own group with local musicians, his brand new album “Le Begueilleux holds good”.
