After more than 200 performances of the One-Manu-Show which made tens of thousands of people burst into laughter in the largest theaters in Quebec, Emmanuel Bilodeau had the dream of ending his tour in a big way... in front of 200 people and around ten cameras, in complete privacy on the stages of the Lion d'or. The One-Manu-Show is Manu who singularly bares himself, telling us about his life as the youngest in a family of 12, his passion for Costco, his contradictions as a consumer in a chaotic world... He tells us communicates his anxieties and his hopes, for himself, his children, and humanity, with his unbridled, crazy humor, but never out of place (well, just often enough)... His show culminates with a speech politics that is both funny and touching, which has become a classic of the Just for Laughs Festival (Victorian prize for best act in 2011 and repeated in 2017 for the 35th anniversary of JPR). This is Emmanuel Bilodeau, former journalist, lawyer, actor, and now the oldest beginner comedian in Quebec!
