Max Films is a Montreal company that specializes in the development and production of films, several of which have had notable international careers (notably Borderline , The Great Seduction , Maelström , Jesus of Montreal , The Decline of the American Empire ). The company's most recent productions are the English remake of La Grande séduction entitled The Grand Seduction by Don McKellar , Two Lovers And a Bear , by Kim Nguyen and more recently Hochelaga, Terre des Âmes by François Girard .
