Ariane DesLions is single-handedly reinventing the profession of youth singer-songwriter. She transforms words, tinkers with songs and fixes musical instruments from recycled objects. From Quebec to France to Western Canada, she will have offered more than 300 performances of her first show and eponymous album, Ma quincaillerie musicale . A real feat for this social worker, fabricator and multi-instrumentalist who is still discreet in the national media, but already the recipient of numerous marks of recognition, including the Excellence Culture Prize, awarded by the Fabrique culturelle (2019), the Prix Mérite Estrien (2019). ), the Relève Prize from the Conseil de la culture de l’Estrie, as well as several creation grants from Musicaction (2019), the Canada Arts Council (2019/2020) and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec ( 2017/2018/2019/2020).
Following the success of her first EP launched in 2017, Ariane DesLions returns with a second album entitled Rêves à colorier .
