Dear voters documents the exhausting daily life of two deputies of the National Assembly of Quebec who are completely opposed, but who have in common that their only power is that of their convictions.

Two deputies, two adversaries, but also two completely different realities, whether in Parliament or in their riding. A lawyer by training, Daniel Turp , PQ MP for Mercier, is a man of ideas. Passionate about culture, in favor of social housing, he undertook a political career with the aim of achieving the sovereignty of Quebec.

Charlotte L'Écuyer , Liberal MP for Pontiac, is a pragmatist who is wary of promises. She was director of the Pontiac Health and Social Services Center before making the leap into politics, where important issues related to the forestry and lumber crisis await her.

Dear voters notes that simple deputies have very little power, that this belongs to ministers, themselves subordinated to the ups and downs of a globalized economy. And meanwhile, their fellow citizens are hoping for the moon! Is life as an MP a mission impossible?
