Four Anglo-Canadians and a New Yorker travel to the fictional and remote village of St-Isidore-du-Coeur-de-Jésus in the depths of Northern Quebec to take part in a two-week French immersion program . It is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the French language since, according to the last census, 99% of the inhabitants are pure-bred Quebecers, monolingual French and fervent nationalists who, with the exception of a single person , all bear the Tremblay name.
